Full Swing

College is in full swing for me now. I'm one credit short of being a full time student. I'm SO overwhelmed too! I am thoroughly enjoying this opportunity to stretch my intellectual muscles and prove to myself and my kids that I can get a degree at this age! Ya ya ya...I know I'm only 33, but by the time I get my degree, I'll have a kid already in college and another one following a couple years later, then the other the next year. I want to land a great job that enables me to help them pay for college expenses. I'm used to jobs where I only make about 10k-11k per year, so going from that to 30k or more will be incredible for us. My degree can't come soon enough!

Scoring vs Kids

This is the universe of my coupon world. It is 8:00 at night and as usual I'm pretty pooped. Excited, I unload my groceries so I can put them away and tell my husband how well I did. He loves it when I save lots and lots of moolah. Once everything's put away and I've shared my happy news with Bob, I can finally go to bed thinking of the great deals I got and anticipating the next ones. This excitedness lasts about one day when I realize my family, mainly the kiddos, has eaten or opened about half of the good stuff.
